Harrison-Moody Training 2025

Harrison-Moody Training & Development returned to the Falkland Islands from 8th to 15th October 2025, delivering another successful series of professional development programmes designed to help individuals and businesses strengthen the skills that make a real difference.

Building on their highly successful visit in October 2024, which saw 39 participants take part and provide overwhelmingly positive feedback, this year’s sessions continued to deliver practical, engaging, and confidence-building learning experiences, this time for 42 delegates.

Leadership & Management Development

Led by Nigel Moody, the five-day Leadership & Management Development Programme was attended by nine participants. The course supported delegates in strengthening leadership skills, building confidence, and applying practical management tools immediately within their roles.

HR & People Management Skills

The two-day HR & People Management Skills Programme, delivered by Sophie Harrison-Moody, provided seven participants with a clear understanding of HR best practice within the context of Falklands legislation. The course also equipped delegates with essential, hands-on skills for recruitment, performance management, and staff development.

Project Management

A new addition to this year’s line-up, Nigel’s one-day Project Management Course gave eleven attendees the tools, techniques, and confidence to plan and deliver projects effectively.

Presentation Skills Development

Sophie’s two-day Presentation Skills Development Programme helped seven participants enhance their presentation delivery, learning how to structure and present engaging, impactful talks that leave a lasting impression.

Personal Impact & Presence

For ten participants eager to strengthen their personal confidence and professional presence, Sophie’s one-day Personal Impact & Presence Programme offered valuable insights into self-awareness, communication, and career development.

The October 2025 visit proved to be another inspiring and practical week of training, continuing FIDC’s commitment to supporting professional and business growth across the Islands.

FIDC would like to thank Nigel and Sophie for delivering five excellent courses, and extend appreciation to all the delegates who participated and contributed to their success.
