5 Year Anniversary for Financial Controller Janet McLeod

FIDC Financial Controller Janet McLeod celebrates her 5 year anniversary with the Corporation.

Falkland Islander Janet qualified as an accountant with the ACCA. Her accounting career began in the UK with British Aerospace. Later, back in the Islands, she worked for the Falkland Islands Company Ltd keeping the farms’ books until their disposal to Falkland Landholdings, then moved to Cable and Wireless, before retiring from the position as Chief Financial Officer in 2014.

Janet joined FIDC on the 1st of July 2019 in a part time role, predominantly in governance for the Board and support for the finance team who manage the daily operations of the entity.
