Important FIDC Announcement 01/05/2026
Effectively immediately, FIDC will temporarily halt all new applications for any loan or grant connected to the FIDC Green Business Program after Executive Council deferred a decision to continue funding the Green Business Program through to the end of the current financial year (1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026).
With the deferment from Executive Council, FIDC is now working with Falkland Islands Government to come up with a solution on how to proceed with the current pending applications and has taken the additional step of temporarily halting any new applications until such a time as FIG can provide direction on the future of the Green Business Program.
